Nickname: None that have stuck very long, Most recently, "Animal Control"

# of Years Riding: I rode on the back since 1968, got my own small Honda in 1972 while overseas at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (Navy Husband) The speed limit on the base was 45 MPH, so there was no need for a big motorcycle.... they just build up carbon, and the only speeding you could do was on the motorcross track that the guys had carved out of the desert. He flipped my little bike end over end on several times on that track, but I was not allowed to try the race. (I was just a girl, you know) What made you want to ride your own motorcycle? I couldn't stop and see what I wanted if I wasn't sitting in front! What if there was a road I wanted to check out? What if I wanted to leave early... or later??? Must mean I have issues with control... my ex would probably agree... but that is another story with a couple of drinks... |

Best Road Trip to Date: MS River Road Run in the hills of Wisconsinand Southern Minnesota. Probably because it was my first overnight run and the first time I had to really stretch my own envelope to keep up riding in the middle of 300 motorcycles on the steep hills and sharp curves. By the end of the weekend the guys told me I was doing fine and could ride with them anytime. |

Favorite Roads to Ride on 2 wheels: Any back road with great scenery and good friends. Dream Road Trip for me to Road Captain: An extended trip to Wyoming to see my brother's ranch and do the ride from Sturgis past Devil's Tower and back through Spearfish Canyon.
Any exciting road trip stories? Not yet, but I'm going to keep riding 'til I have great stories to tell. I'm just getting started! I'm still just listening to other's great tales. |

Birthday: August 2nd (you have to guess the year) Birthplace: Minnesota (which is why I now live here!) Birthday Suit: That's what imaginations are for :)
Ambitions: To be able to quit working so I can play more.
Turn Ons: I do like to laugh at a good joke or a silly situation! |

Turn Offs: Angry people, politics, stupid drivers, being to tired to enjoy a good laugh. |

Charities I have supported: Breast Cancer Research is very dear to my heart, as I am a 25 year survivor (does that help you guess my age) and MS research too, since it has touched several of my friends. The Spring Shelter is my most recent focus. Special Talents: Helping people feel comfortable in whatever situation presents itself. |

Present Occupation: I'm a Dental Hygienist, but don't worry, I leave my work at the office. Motorcycle Rider is my alter ego. Dream Job: Riding all over the world, taking photos of the people and places I see and getting paid to have others see the world as I see it. That sounds like a National Geographic job, I think)
Weirdest Job I have ever held: I'm sure I haven't yet held that position. I don't stray far off the beaten path, or at least I haven't so far (unless you count that tourist thing) but there is always hope for the future! |

Most shocking thing about me: I packed up and left my home after 29 years of trying to make a sick marriage work. Next most shocking would be that I left my children and grandchildren to get warm once and for all. They have since forgiven me as long as I let them come and visit when they get too cold. :)
What I like BEST about the WITW Dangerous Curves Chapter: Getting to know the most amazing women who like to do the same things I like to do. We laugh and ride and encourage each other in all we do. |
