Each WITW Member attending the International Meeting is responsible for making her own hotel reservations. Due to the unique ambience of Key West, it is possible for our members to enjoy the freedom of a wide variety of lodging choices within mere blocks of the main WITW Hospitality Complex- all by simply calling one main reservation number!
This change of having one centrally located Main Hospitality Gathering Area in center of the action gives each member the freedom to pick accomodations that fit her budget- and still be a 2 minute stroll from the hospitality area!
The hospitality area will be open 24 hours of each day, and will serve as the location of our Meet and Greet on Friday Night Pool Party, as well as the vending area for National and Chapter Logo Item Sales, and of course plenty of Pirate Themed games and activities.
The Hospitality Area will be located in Mallory Square on Angela Street and is a tiny B&B that has given us permission to use their pool/ courtyard as a primary gathering location. If you want to pick a hotel near the hospitality area- the closer you are to Mallory Square, the shorter walk you will have. Keep in mind that most any hotel on Duval Street or nearby is walking distance to the hospitality area. The actual hospitality B&B has only 13 rooms and we reserved it for those who have committed to working on the committee. This way, we will always have someone available on site who can play hostess in that area. The closest BUDGET hotel is Southern Cross at 326 Duval. The reservation service can advise you to the closest choices they have near Mallory Square. Mallory Square is at the opposite end of the street from the Southern Most point. WE promise to have extensive details on this site once the webmistress gets off the road to Edmonton and has time to list more info!!!
